latest Trump polls
The latest AP-NORC found 39 percent had a positive view of the job Trump is doing, while 60 percent disapproved of his leadership so far.
The survey was conducted between June 5 and 9 among 1,158 adults, and had a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.
The AP-NORC poll in May found 41 percent approved of Trump's job performance, and 57 percent disapproved.
39% is barely above the 35% MAGA base that will approve anything Trump does.
Trump now launches a mobile phone plan and mobile phone.....maybe that will do something for him.

Once again, these polls don't really mean anything until mid-terms. My prediction is he'll ease off the deportations and run to the middle, so the GOP can try to retain control of Congress. Until then, it's just too soon for these numbers to mean anything meaningful.

It is amazing Trump has that high of a approval rating, since around 95% of all reporting on anything Trump by the Media is negative..

Without the MAGAs, only 4% of Americans approve of Trump. 60% disapprove.
Several polls are showing the same result.

Faux News, OAN (if they are even still accessible and reporting) and NewsMax only report positive for Trump. Those outlets are like State TV for him. They account simply reinforce the Trump admin message and show glowing admiration for Trump and their former employees.
Also, Trump’s disapproval has nothing to do with reporting. Folks can feel the continuation of high grocery prices, deportation of folks that aren’t violent criminals, birthday parade, and a failure to actually pass any laws that help them. A lot of people didnt take long to realize they were sold shit not shineola.

And you could circle back to #5...
In addition to 1blackman's list of why so many disapprove...add to it the unbelievable corruption, transactional politics, etc.
I encourage you to not try to deflect from that by using the "Biden Crime Family" approach. The comparisons will not go well.

You are mistaken as to what causes poll numbers. It is Trump who is causing the 60% disapproval rating. You blame the messenger.

In fact this is what you posted on the issue.

It is the highest manifestation of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
The real irony is President Trump is having a great time doing it.
Trump is Nancy with the football, and poor “Charlie Brown Media” falls for it every time.

If negative reporting is causing poor ratings and Trump is bringing negative reporting on himself then it’s his actions that account for his poor polling.
Here’s a good opinion piece from David French about Trump’s polling numbers. Read the full article by clicking the link. I’ve only included a snippet. To summarize, people would like Trump more if he wasn’t such a giant dick.

Millions of Americans Like Trump Better in Theory Than in Practice
June 15, 2025
CBS found that a majority of Americans approve of the goals of Trump’s deportation program by a 10-percentage-point margin, 55 to 45.
At the same time, a slightly larger majority (56 percent to 44 percent) disapprove of Trump’s methods. A majority of Americans like what Trump wants to do, but they don’t like how he’s doing it.
A similar analysis applies to Trump’s approach to tariffs. Americans are evenly split about the goals of Trump’s tariff-and-trade program, but a large majority (63 percent) disapprove of his methods.
This gap between approval for Trump’s goals and disapproval of Trump’s methods helps explain why he’s been elected twice and why his approval sagged so quickly at the beginning of both terms. It also demonstrates why Democrats haven’t been able to build an enduring majority in spite of Trump’s relentless aggression and overreach.

June 2025 poll from the Trafalgar group. Also there are two things to consider, first of all are the mid-term results which is more accurate than any poll, then considering the next general election. We will have at least 2 highly credible nominees with Vance and DeSantis, but what will the democrats have? newsom who can't even run his own state, the pillowbiting mayor of Gary, Indiana? The democrats, at this time, do not have a credible candidate to run for POTUS.
Trump from the Trafalgar group, June 2025.
About the democrats, schumer is polling at 17%, newsom approval in California June 2025, https://californiaglobe.com/fr/poll-...for-president/. If newsom runs, might as well color california red.
https://www.nj.com/politics/2025/06/...ns-prefer.html "While most of the respondents remained split, 35% chose a Republican candidate who supports Trump’s policies, while less than half, or 17%, said they preferred a candidate who supports policies like those of Ocasio-Cortez."
Bidens last approval rating was 41%, before news came out about this dementia and cancer, which if factored in would have put his ratings at the Mariana trench level.
So before you members of the clique go around throwing poll numbers around, you have best look at your own poll numbers first. You guys aren't exactly lighting up the polls either.

The Trafalgar Group is an opinion polling and survey company founded by Robert Cahaly and based in Atlanta, Georgia. It first publicly released polls in 2016. Trafalgar has been questioned for its methodology and for an apparent bias towards the Republican Party.

... Let's continue with BAD NEWS for the Democrats...
... NEW Rasmussen poll - President Trump with MAJORITY Support
with Black and Hispanic voters! ... ...
Approval from 54% of Black voters and 53% from Hispanic voters.
They LOVE President Trump!
... Trump with 53% Overall, with 59% male voters and 49% women.
------------------------------------------
--- But Wait - There's MORE! ...
... Economist/YouGov ... Voters also like what Trump is doing
on the Immigration issue... 49% approve... 45% dis-approve.
... That's a plus +4 - if you're doin' math-mattics.
