Negotiation is all about leverage. Believe it or not, mongers have more leverage than they give themselves credit for. Yumi's crap massage wasnt worth the HF, so I definitely wasnt rewarding her with her desired donation. They either take my 1st offer, or I lower the 2nd offer. If they dont agree or commit to my original offer, they're getting the Shark Tank treatment: I'm OUT! They typically get in line after that.
