Something’s going on,

In light of the recent posts concerning relaxing, and some of the theories about what’s going on having been voiced,

I’ll say this, I drive around the city, a lot, and I’m seeing a lot of dark storefronts where I used to see lights around the windows, and open signs on some of our establishments here.

I know a lot of the operations have cut back from 24 hour and are turning off the lights at nine or 10 PM, but I’d like to see a thread where we take an inventory of the shops that have been closed recently,

I know I’m a little bit scared to go to them now because of the recent ice raids, I’m wondering how many of the girls are afraid to go to work. The shop operators may be having a hard time keeping staff on duty.

I’m just looking for other opinions and observations here.

The providers are afraid of being picked up by ICE. Last week, an ATF asked me to pick her up and take her home. When I got to the shop, the open sign was off, the lights were off, and the door was locked. I was let in through the back door. This was around 3 pm. A guy in a black truck tried to come in, and the providers said that they weren’t opening the door due to ICE. I took both providers home, and then they treated me to hotpot in Bellaire.

A provider sent me a WeChat video that stated ICE was conducting operation “ Market Sweep” . The target’s worse, supermarkets, convenience, stores, public businesses.. it ran like wildfire through the Asian community. It was supposed to run from Sunday through Tuesday three days.. some owners had girls bail on them. I convinced her it was a horrible fake and it was when I watched the video. She had stayed home and asked me to come pick her up to take her to work. But that was supposed to have ended yesterday.

I read a Fox News article about an operation targeting Chinese organized crime (massage establishments) within the last few weeks. Not a huge step for them to expand to our area.

I don't doubt the above at all. One of my massage ladies said she thinks it's the economy also. Been very slow for her lately.

I wonder if they are "semi-open" you call them from the parking lot, walk up to the door & knock. They let you in but show no sign of being open.

If I go in expecting to get laid just for helping, I’m not really helping am I? Sometimes it’s good just to help people with no strings attached. I wasn’t expecting hotpot either, but they asked me to come along. It was me and four attractive girls eating good food.
