OTOH, Trump does seem to make 'not so veiled' threats of military action against other countries on a regular basis (Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Greenland, Iran, Mexico), and has conducted military operations against 7 countries in his first year.

*You* may claim we are not at war with Venezuela but our actions are of that of a conquering nation. Short term objective was achieved. What is currently going on afterwards is FAR BEYOND what you claim.

And to use the drug angle....I gotta confess. I am baffled. I really thought trump was of mind to understand addictive personalities when it came to chemicals (his uncle being an alcoholic) and would be sympathetic to such. But his actions are counter to that.

His "war" on drugs is to tear down anything to treat people that are dependent on them. He is taking the most expensive, labour intensive, hamstringing action to counter such.

Actually he’s not. I remember when he said that he didn’t know what Project 2025 was. That was either a lie or the people that he surrounds himself with are implementing it behind his back and he just doesn’t care.

I’m half convinced that Trump only cares about things that personal to him or things that will profit him in some way.

His advisors use this to enact an agenda that pleases the MAGA faithful and I don’t think Trump really has any idea of what is really happening in the wider world.

I expect the next few years are going to be a straight up disaster for the old world order.
