Default Kash Patel - FBI investigations

Patel on "Saturday in America."

Quote:
"The FBI follows the facts and the law, and President Trump and the attorney general have given us a clear mandate to reduce crime in this country and investigate anything that rises to the level of probable cause."

After Trump's inauguration in January 2025, the investigation stalled. Trump appointees in the DOJ and FBI, including FBI Director Kash Patel and then-acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove, decided to close the case, stating there was "no credible evidence of any criminal wrongdoing".
