Question No Call No Show

If someone (provider or client) pulls a no call no show..would you set up another appointment with them or are they blacklisted from the first time they pull that. How many times would you accept no calls no shows from someone before you blacklist them?

I do it the first time. I take my appointments seriously. It's extremely inconsiderate, and their names DO go on my blacklist.

I used to give several chances for just about everything. These days, I've learned...it doesn't always pay to be understanding. Most have taken my kindess as a weakness...and, me and my time for granted.

I'm not sure about *blacklisting,* but I would let others know, so they're made aware of the NCNS and the situation. They can choose from that information...whether or not to risk setting an appointment.

I agree that it doesn't pay to be understanding.

For me, keeping a blacklist is convenient. I can't remember user names or specifics to why each person is there. I don't instantly put their name there as soon as they're 15 min late. It's more of a case by case basis.

It depends if they get back to me and let me know what happened. I understand emergiencies, etc. can happen. Especially if it is a well reviewed provider that did not have a history of doing that. I have only cancelled an apt. once with a provider and that was recently with Lexi ddd, but it was because my ATF finally called me back. I did cancel 10 minutes after I made the apt. but I still felt bad about it.

If a person has a reputation for being a NCNS then yes.

If they don't have a reputation for NCNS and try to set up with you again. I would ask what happened and from there decide whether or not to accept the appointment. (Trust your instincts)

It depends on the situation and history with the individual. Things happen communication between the provider and client is key. In most cases setting up another appoitment makes sense.

Blacklisting is another issue depending again on the individual's history for NCNS.

My 2 cents worth.

A cancellation or a re-scheduling is completely and entirely different than a NCNS. Only on the rarest of occasions would I ever forgive a NCNS. I'll give the other party the benefit of the doubt until after I've heard their reason for their 'ghosting', but in this day and this electronic age in which we live, there are just too many different ways to contact a person and inform them that something came up, that their excuse had best be an extraordinary one. Not only is a NCNS disrespectful, it's rude and inconsiderate. That said, I have a very low tolerance for someone who'd pull this on me. This respect thing is supposed to be a two-way street. I won't pull it on anybody and expect the same in return.

A cancellation, I am somewhat more understanding. Yeah it sucks that the appointment isn't going to happen, but at least they had the courtesy and were professional enough to inform me. That I can live with.

I always try to reach out to find out the cause of the no show. If I receive a response I take it from there. I do don't, well, on to the next one.

For me, if a provider NCNSed me (and this is how I would want to be treated in return), I would give them a chance to tell their side of the story.

If they were someone that I was really interested in and everything seemed ok, I'd give them another chance.

I understand things happen, and in this hobby, when things happen, you can't always let the other party know about it right away. An aunt dropping by. Grandma getting sick and having to go to the hospital. I can't really call up Lovely Layla (fake name, I hope?) while riding in the car with my dad and aunt to let her know we'll have to make the beast with two backs in a few days.

Now, if this was someone who I thought was hot and I just wanted to bang her, and she NCNSed me, I'd move on.
