Default Newt Upsets Mitt

Newt Gingrich (whom I am rooting for to be the Republican presidential nominee) is the projected winner in the South Carolina Primary.

I am also enthusiastic about Ron Paul winning the Republican nomination, or becoming a third-party candidate if he loses! Hey, I also want the Donald to run as an independent.

The Democrats need a miracle to have any chance at all in November. The Republicans appear to be trying very hard to provide one.

I completely disagree. If the Republicans throw any of those 3 joker candidates against Obama besides Paul, Obama will win easily. There's no separation between the Republicans and Democrats on big government and government spending. The Republicans try to play it off like they are different, but they really aren't and their obsession with spending 100's of millions of dollars on the military and creating as many laws as possible prove they are neither fiscally responsible, nor about small government. Secondly, the whole "family values" crap have run their course. Republicans are on the wrong side when it comes to social issues for most Americans.

If Paul were to run against Obama, now there's a good chance they could win. Libertarians represent the new "right wing" America and it's high time the Republican party recognize that and start adopting more of their philosophies or Libertarianism will stomp them out of existence in the future.

Ok rant over.

Jack - I've agreed with you most times about some wonderful ladies, I will have to disagree about your political bent.

As a Conservative all I can say is that the Republican Party is a Joke. I have never seen such a group of whining lack luster political dim wits ... ok well maybe I have but the current crop boarders on the obscene!

Having said that I will couch what i have said by pointing out that both the House and the Senate need to get back to the job they were elected to do which is to work in conjunction with the President to govern the Country ... DAMN

I guess that is why I will never run for political office I'm just going straight to the top!

And of course when I'm King I will have to give the command ...

That's not true. Military spending is the Republican's dirty little secret. It dwarfs spending on social programs. The pubs have just done a better job with their social engineering at fooling the public on this spending and hiding all those "little" contracts given to lobbyists.

The fact that we can have political discourse from all sides, hopefully done with civility, is a reminder that we are luckier than most people in the rest of the world.

Default Republicans...so full of crap...

I absolutely luv the way the Republican Party...(which am registared to...its all Jack Kemp fault...rest his soul)...runs around screaming of family values...until they cant use that card anymore...they may hate him...but Barack Obama seems to dote on his wife and daughters....so what do they do? In SC...they Hand a primary victory to a serial philander...
