Suggestions for a night on the town?

I've been asked to provide some suggestions for Wednesday evening on the town, in the Colonade and La Canterra area. Looking for dinner and entertainment, maybe R&B or jazz. What can you recommend, and why?

Rover, what type of restaurant and type of date are you going on? Finding a Jazz/R&B club in those areas is difficult. Here are my suggestions:

Dinner:
1. StoneWerks at the Rim
2. Chama Gaucha on Sonterra Blvd

It's business entertainment. I may get to go along... then again, I may need to do some personal investigation of these suggestions.

Only if I get to sample the escort first. Oh yes, I've already done that!

Apparently they enjoyed the suggestions. I was able to join them for lunch at the Yard House (thanks, dude!). Great food and I fell for the House Belgian Amber Ale. Three of those and it's a great day!

I got a text from them a short while ago. They went to the Chama Gaucha for the evening and apparently had a great time. I'm going to have to find the opportunity to go there myself. Thank you both for your suggestions. They were right on the mark and greatly appreciated. I knew I could get some great input from folks who live the "Good Life".
