Hey folks,

I'm new to the Hobby and I was reading a few posts in regards to in-call/out-call debacles.......

Whats the safest way to book an appointment?

I was reading someone got robbed at some location (hotel/motel) recently, and I am sketchy about inviting a provider to my home in regards to; knowing your location, possessions etc.

I know everyone isn't a thief or have bad intentions but, you have to protect yourself from the random B.S. that could ensue......

What makes you ladies/gents feel the most secure when going into an appointment?

There are risks everywhere. Get a few newbie friendly appointments first, build up cred, try a few amps or agencies, the with those references go for more established ladies.

Motels, hotels or incalls are good to see providers if you don't want them to know where you live.

I feel the most secure in a nicer hotel with security and cameras (but even so, the craigslist killer struck in nice hotels with good security). The notels are riskier. Reputable agencies are also safer. Inviting a provider to your home carries numerous risks that have been discussed thoroughly in another recent thread.

Basically there is some inherent risk with this hobby. If you are smart and see reputable providers, you shouldn't have a problem.

Newbie should start off making the Search tab his friend. Then download some porn. All the while learning. Or what could possibly go wrong?

It all happens, welcome to the hobby. That said, you’ll have a harder time getting an outcall appointment as a newbie. Find a well established provider that’s newbie friendly for an incall. I’ve found that visiting providers stay at nicer places, whereas local providers may use more sketchy incalls.

couple of points...
1.The provider will RARELY be violent...worst case is she is just a thief that does a cash & dash on you.
2.Her pimp is much more likely to be violent. She will tell him everything...including the info you gave her to be screened.

Protect yourself.
If the room is in your name, the Tx Castle doctrine is on your side.
If the room is in another name, you are the intruder.
Do not carry extra cash, credit cards or other valuables.
Do not allow them to link you to your car.

Do not be a fool
Just because she knows you and will blow you within 20 mins of when you call...does not mean she will help you if there is a problem.

You must really get to know someone before you can say you MIGHT be safe to let your guard down..

Part of the thrill of the hobby is the danger...if you can't deal with these situations...try something not so strenuous.
