Recently a thread was started about whether us ladies cared if the hobbyist wore their wedding ring or not... and that made me curious..

If a provider is married, engaged, promised to or any other option..

Does it matter if she wears her ring? Would you like to think she is single ?
Or does it excite you to fantasize about the naughty next door neighbor house wife that isnt getting enough at home so you are giving it to her???

In coyote ugly, she says: "always appear available and never be available"
Is it fair to say that providing falls into that same category?

I never look ... nor ask.

Often folks wear dress rings that mean nothing and besides the obvious risk of scratching in LT etc I have no objection.

But unrelated - it probably needs a new thread - romance between providers and hobbyists is a hot topic See Mikaela's old site for some happy thoughts.

Wondering has it happened out here? how often and what do the ladies on this site think of such things?

I hadn't really thought about it before, but it might be kind of hot if presented in the context of "I need you to give what my man doesn't". However if it is more along the lines of just talking about her s/o then it would be a possible detractor. So I guess the answer is YES it would be good fantasy fodder but not much else : )

I've always thought that if she's good enough to be a paid provider, she can probably have about any guy she wants (or girl, for that matter). Whether she does or not, she's willing to see me, right now. So it doesn't really matter to me either way. We are living out a fantasy, within limits we both agree to. I can respect her life outside that bubble, as I expect her to for me.

Ditto Desertrat 62. In the end it's all about attitude, which in no small measure results from how confortable she is about the hobby. Breaking taboos certainly has it's appeal to some, if not most, of us. So to that extent a ring could be a turn on. But on the other hand it encourages questions about life outside the hobby, boundaries need to be respected.

I've known one provider, who's moved away alas, who told me she was married. This info came my way after several sessions, when we'd built a good raport. As I recall, it didn't affect my outlook one way or the other.

So, if a lady advirtised that she was married, I don't think it would make me any more, or any less, likely to arrange a playtime.
