I am glad that they have been expanding Hwy 349 to four lanes. That has been rough with oil field traffic and farm traffic during cotton season.
Midland has been major pain to drive around with road construction on the numerous streets. At least, I just do day trips to Midland/Odessa for work.

So much for my safe direction out of town,but only during hunting season. I20 is one long death trap!

349 and 763 are being worked, so be ready to take longer.

The new speeds, road construction, and major increase from the oil industry at Midland/Odessa, you need be safe, look around, and watch for the other drivers and big rigs.
