Well long story short, It was a long night of drinking as we shut down the bar we were at. On the long ass walk back to the truck the urge to piss hit me like a freight train. We finally made it back to our truck, So I looked around and seen nobody, so I pulled my well you know what out and took a piss on the truck tire. When I looked around again a cop just happened to turn down the same flippin street and busted me for pissing in public @ 2:30 in the morning with nobody in sight. So I have to find a good attorney to get this BS taken care of.

Here is a website that I have used in the past when I have looked for an attorney. I already put in Lawrence and Criminal for you so all you have to do is locate one from there. Also if you go to the Kansas Bar Association you should be able to find info on them there too. Hope this helps.

I whip it out and pee outside all the time, but it's usually out in the country while on a bicycle ride. Murphy's law always applies though; I won't see a car in 45 minutes but as soon as I need to drain the lizard all of a sudden where I am becomes Grand Central Station.

If that is all it is and it is a city citation then review the diversion policy on the city attorney's web site and call and simply ask if the charge can be diverted. You aren't admitting anything and they mostly want money. If you don't have a record you will likely get it. It's like probation without conviction and if you get in no more trouble, then the charge is dismissed at the end if the diversion period--typically 12 months. Here is the info:

If it's a Douglas County citation or charge rather than city, the D A basically has the same thing. Just google it and you'll come up with the hot links.

Or if you can get the humane society to certify you are a dog, they will let you plead no contest to 'dog at large' and buy tags. The girls like the tags, but the shots really sting.

thanks everyone for your info and input, I found a pretty good lawyer to gave me a hell of a deal since I know one of his other lawyer buddies. Only reason I had to get an attorney is to stay of the sex offenders list and serve no diversion as I have a squeaky clean record and wish to keep it that way.
