				Lobby excuses.

Ok. We all know that dreaded walk thru the lobby. What's your best excuse? I'm lucky. I work construction, so I'm always dressed accordingly. Construction guys are invisible and I've worked in enough motels to know so. I've walked thru some high class hotels and no one ever gives me second look. So next time you are walking around in a motel and you see a construction worker walking around with a big smile, that guy just got laid.

If I get a room close to me, it can look a little awkward. I just say my carpets are getting cleaned and all my furniture is moved around.

Yea, I'm always so nice and complimenting of the desk clerk or the hotel. Hehe. I just act kinda blonde and ditzy. And I always ask about places to eat or decent bars to have a drink at. Sometimes I know ahead of time about an event in town and I talk about how I'm in town for that. I do a lot of research and acting. And I always stay low key and dress down until i go out. Then i don't care because I'm probably going to pretend I went to the bar they recommended lol!

I have done quite a bit of touring since last year and I learn something from each trip. I have decided to stay at larger hotels so that my clients blend in with everyone else. With the smaller hotels that are not as busy I was always concerned with the front desk.

The issue as of late has been the amount of time the cleaning crew stays on each floor and the fact that it is the same people on the floor. Nothing like having them right across the hall when a client comes and goes. LOL

If stopped (which never happens) I give them a scowl and say, " look, the Dr. told me these pills will only work for so long, and I'm only gonna be here for an hour, so unless you're planning on bending over to take my load, I need to get to room # XXX so I can take care of business before this pill wears off!

They'll usually back away and wave you on...

but seriously...I usually act like I'm talking on the phone, smile, wave and walk right on thru like I own the place.

Every once in awhile I'll flip em the finger and tell em to mind their own fucking business just for the hell of it...then cup my balls and point at em like they're my friend and call em monkey boy...

 no just kiddin...

There is a particular hotel near the plaza that I'm sure the front desk knows me. Many ladies seem to stay there.

I also met a lady at a different hotel. She indicated she had been living there a while and that the cleaning staff was aware of what she was doing. So much so that one guy had stayed for a long enough time the cleaning staff later told her they were about to check on her. I'm not sure I'm that comfortable with such a low level of discretion.

And btw nines....lmao

That's when it is best to check the hallway a few minutes before the appt. If there is cleaning crew around it is nice for the guy to have the door propped open so he can just walk in. This would be best for a guy you already know I am sure or have fully screened and is well known. I know some girls use the peep hole for the last chance to bail out of the appt.

Speaking of walking the wrong way. There is a hotel in SKC that is horse shoe shaped. A now retired girl was staying there and I went to meet her. That day the hotel was almost empty and I did my walk by the desk, inquiring about the cafe hours or something. I proceeded to walk to the right thinking I could just cross over somewhere. Neeewwwp. The only place to cross over is the pool and you need a key card to access. There was no way I was going to walk by the desk again so I called her and she came down and let met me by the pool and on to the other side.

On a busy day with a bunch of people hanging around and checking in/out it wouldn't have been an issue. But on a extremely slow day it is very awkward to have to walk around by the front desk again...

I know that many providers request extra towels from the housekeeping staff. I've always wondered how they do that without raising suspicions. I understand that the majority of housekeepers really don't care and are glad to be helpful, particularly when tipped nicely. I have to wonder, though, that sooner or later a provider is going to use a hotel that for some reason or another is not provider friendly, and I suspect asking for a stack of towels fits a pattern.
