CPS doesn't just sneak in in the middle of the night and kidnap random babies. It is actually somewhat difficult to be at the point where CPS takes over and completely removes a child rather than just monitoring and offering services to the family. Particularly at the infant stage...

News flash... learn to take responsibility for your part in things. Do the things you are supposed to be doing. Follow the programs you are supposed to be following. And stop with the victim mentality.

And it CPS is trying to terminate her parental rights, she will have a court appointed lawyer. My partner does some of that work on a pro bono basis. That's one more resource to which she could turn. Absent termination of another child, CPS also has to provide services to the parent, assuming she will cooperate and meet some basic requirements that are easily done, absent serious addiction problems.

Ok, I am going to say this, and I say this with sadness.... I spoke to the OP this morning, and she told me that the reason she got in the shelter in the 1st place was that she went on a call and got caught up in a sting operation. She chose to tell the LE that she was a victim of sex trafficking so she wouldn't get arrested for "Possession of P*ssy with intent to distribute""... By her telling the po-po that, she got put into a shelter...

Now the rest of the story is to remain forever in my memory, because this young girl truly needs to get herself together.. I don't wish any harm to her, and I hope she gets her life together to retrieve the custody of her child(ren)...

If the story was the least bit Legit, I would have driven immediately to Texas 8 1/2 hours roughly 500 miles TODAY to help her.

I applaud those who have done their good deed in providing food ect. to help her, but now she must try and help herself.

I know I will probably be backlashed by some, and applauded by others, but I do NOT throw bricks and hide my hands. All hands clean!!

I just wanted the TRUTH as was told to me by the OP, to be known. And BTW, she wasn't even sorry that she used the STATE facilities to keep her azz out of the slammer.

I'm really confused. So trafficking shelters do not have food, yet they allow you to be on your phone all day connected to a site that is known for reviewing hookers???

Wouldn't they block sites like this even if they did allow you to have your phone. I thought those programs were pretty protective about how much contact you have with the outside world until you are mentally and emotionally ready to handle the responsibility on your own.
