Got to go with the chalk and the Baffert exacta. American Pharaoh over Dortmund. Both look head and shoulders better than most if the field. I think AP drawing a bit outside is actually good. It lessens the chances that he get on the front and goes out at ridiculous factions. He should tuck in three or four wide in the second flight. The only horse I think has a good chance to crash the party is Mubtashij. I could see him getting up late. I think those are the top three finishers unless one of them gets in a pace dual.

If you want stone cold long shots, I'd take a Firing Line and Upstart.

Stanford scratched, this allows Frammento in the race with post position 20. Also possible El Kabeir will scratch.

Still haven't decided on my picks, but one I will have in 2nd & 3rd is Upstart.

Beware Firing Line, was within a neck Dortmund in Santa Anita preps. If American Pharoah runs back to his Arkansas Derby form he is right there. Also Keen Ice can get in there for a piece of a trifecta or superfecta at long odds.I also like Upstart.
