Loved the closeups of distraught Yankee fans in the later innings......bet they felt like crap that a team from Texas was beating them (again) in the playoffs. Congrats, Houston.....now go get the Royals. Hope we see one another in the ALCS!

Is Pete Rose (ie: see MLB Network) suffering from dementia these days (seriously) or has he simply become dumb as a bag o' hammers (or.....has he ALWAYS been as such)?

Here he is, banging on Beltre, Donaldson, etc for being taken out of yesterday's lineups (Toronto-Texas game) because "one guy takes a knee to the head and is {a little light-headed} while the another "tweaks his back a little" and can barely walk let alone run to first base".

Does Rose know nohing about today's concussion protocols in basically ALL sports? What an idiot.
Does he not know of Beltre's lengthy history in dealing and playing WITH injuries / pain? Dope!

To top it off, after the Astros took care of business vs the Royals last night, you just could hear the disdain / disgust in his voice that the two visiting "Texas teams got lucky yesterday".

Rose's so called "expert commentating" could end up out-weighing anything positive he might bring to this group of analysts.

Or maybe this is what MLB wants....show the entire world what a pathetic, bitter old man Pete has become and bring a halt to the public murmurs that he's been jobbed by MLB for HOF considerations.
