Google may not recognize, but I do recognize Miss SaraXXX as a great cornhooker. Big difference between her and the Cornhuskers. She is right on in that the last minute is as good as the first one.
From a corny guy from the Corn State of Iowa.

Everyone seems to think the OP was just paranoid and in the wrong for not contacting the provider before removing himself from a situation he was uncomfortable in. Hmmm, I think everyone seems to tell newbie, and new to area, providers and hobbyists to play safe and trust your instincts. I don't blame him one bit for removing himself, first. I would have done the same. The only thing I would have done different, other than not going to that area to begin with, is I would have contacted the provider AFTER I was well removed from the area, and explained why I bailed on the appointment. In this hobby, it's better to be a little too safe, than sorry.

Exactly when you book in a shitty area (ie Sterling/Noland Rd) you're already dealing with the local trash who live there and increased presence of LE to deal with their higher than normal criminal activity. You take your chances on people doing a 180 when they arrive. Price of doing business.

Agreed. The NCNS was wrong, but bailing because he was uncomfortable was not. He should have called after he left, he probably would have still caught shit, but it would have been the right thing to do.

I too have cancelled appointments after I've found out where it would take place. Certain areas I outright avoid.

Sometimes trash is located in upper income areas. .. in fact they are highly educated, fabulous careers, amazing cars...yet they are scum of the earth.
Hmmmm
Maybe, possibly, bad genetics?? You think??

Its OK to be paranoid, paranoid keeps you safe, but should have told the person your seeing.
