NO Rep was going to win in 2008. McCain got his moment in the sun, but the reality is he may have been the only person in the US who didn't realize from day one that he had no chance. It wasn't about him, it was an avalanche voting "No More Bush, No More Cheney".

I thought Obama was beatable in 2012. I know the Psychopath was VERY beatable--all the Reps had to do was not screw it up. So they nominate an egotistical jerk who is pretending to be a Rep. Likely the one candidate they could have found who could make Clinton electable.
