You are being obtuse today. I never claimed you post wasn't understandable. I said it was a racial stereotyping, one that is completely contrary to the preponderance of historical facts.

But it is quite clear that so long as it isn't a racial slur against whites or blacks, very few people here care.

Let's see if we can stitch 'em all together in one sentence...

It was colder than a witch's tit on the night the pregnant Messican women were sneaking across the border to give birth to their anchor babies, so the Indian giver coyote took back all the blankets he had furnished them...
I wouldn't expect anything different from you. And as usual you live down to your reputation.

I'll take that as a compliment. While I might concur with your historical fact-checking, I don't share your PC zeal to proscribe long-standing idioms.

Temporarily. That was the missing word...temporarily they have suspended repayments. I don't hear of any plan to return the money that was already taken. One man talked about his entire paycheck being garnished while he was in Afghanistan, his family's paycheck. Left them with nothing but what they had saved up or could borrow. Those two things tell me that they intend to continue after the election is over or when no one is looking. If they didn't then they open the door to others such as myself who have been screwed over with the complicated system. Establish the precedent of trying to make things right and a lot of disgruntled servicemen will come forward.
