While my Business is not in "Obamacare", our rates have gone up sustantially because our Carrier says it is killing them. What it all come down to is somebody has to pay. As it turns out, it's me.
Refinancing home loans? As long as the borrorow can afford the house in the first place, why not. But as past experience has proven, guaranteeing loans to those who have no way of paying them back is a disaster in the making.
The Student Loan thing is similiar. Colleges keep raising the cost of a degree because they figure the money is guaranteed by the Government, i.e., the Taxpayer. This might go as far as being a Liberal Administrations way of paying off their supporters in the overwhelming Liberal Academia.
Of course, if Students default, and can't even get a decent job with their so called "degree, the loser turns out to be the Taxpayer and the Student, not the over rated and overpriced Colleges and Universities who are laughing all the way to the bank.
