You guys don't mind to elaborate why, as members of the ECCIE, your words carry more weight than the Forum Guidelines?

I am curious as to what forum guidelines are being violated? Unless of course, he was a member here and you know him to have been a member.... genuine question, not being a smartass... I don't know the Eccie Bible from cover to cover.

Don't get me wrong-- I'd prefer to see this thread die. I've known the family for many years and don't think they'd appreciate it. But-- there are lots of things on this board that are of questionable taste.

Any "insight" you wish to impart to us from post #10, Grace?

I assume you think because the C word was used, it violates the guidelines.. maybe it does, technically.. but it's like changing lanes without using your turn signal.. a Cop can nail you for it, but probably won't, and shouldn't.

it's a news story, not someone advocating use of something forbidden.. in fact, it warns against it's use.

the way you dramatically posted that the thread should be shut immediately, makes me wonder if you have an agenda you didn't reveal.

And what guidelines would you be referring too, hmm? Why should the link, and this entire thread be deleted?

It was published on the local news and someone simply pasted the article here, just like it's been done with many many articles in the past. The story shared new news, which revealed the cause of death. They didn't even share opinions just stated facts from a local TV station, geez. Yes it's very sad, I too knew him and had done business with him, and I saw no ill intent in this thread. Bless him and his family, I couldn't imagine the stress he / they went through and are going through

Close this thread.

Every time somebody Googles his name from now on, this thread will pop up with the search results.

Does the family need to see that?

We are not talking about "lane violations," are we? That particular one-word post, accompanied by a link, is a not-so-subtle attempt to facilitate further discussions on the subject of [forbidden substance] use, which is strictly forbidden under the written expression of the Forum Guidelines. Or are you also assuming that the cops equate "changing lanes without using your turn signal" to drunk driving...?

Care to cite where anyone in that "news story"... "warns against it's use"? Seems like they are advocating "its use" by their dismissive denials of its very existence.

I did it this way because I prefer not to RTM that post, the exact same way I did on this other thread of yours.

Where did I ever state that "this entire thread be deleted?" Seems like you no longer know how to act like a "wise guy" these days....

what other thread of mine? this thread is not mine.. you are the reason the thread has not died.. your keen interest in the subject matter has kept it going.. I still think you have an agenda of some sort.

but if it makes you feel even slightly better, this is my final post in the thread.. promise.
