				 Patriotism or pandering?

This is what VP Pence said after he walked from the game:"I left today's Colts game because President Trump and I will not dignify any event that disrespects our soldiers, our Flag or our National Anthem."
 Disrespect for our soldiers?
How can we forget the remarkably insensitive and shallow comment made by candidate Trump when he disrespected a soldier who had demonstrated bravery beyond words.
Remember his disrespectful, insensitive comment about John McCain?
Trump called him a loser because he was captured.
That's the type of respect Trump feels about our soldiers.
Now he's trying to convince us about his devoted patriotism, his deep respect for soldiers.
He had a chance to demonstrate his respect for a soldier when he described his feelings about John McCain.
This is yet another example revealing that Trump is a opportunistic con man.
His phony comments about respecting our soldiers must be recognized for what they really are.

 | Guess what, Muy Loco? Trump was running against hildebeest. Hildebeest and her hubby have been disrespecting those who served for half a century, Muy Loco. Furthermore, Muy Loco, Trump has done more for American vets and active duty personnel in these first few months than hildebeest did as a senator or Slick Willie did for them while he was in office for eight years. Take your mock outrage and shove it up your hairy ass, Muy Loco.

Will YOU lying liberals, Colin Kapernik and YOUR other millionaire heroes in the NFL be cheering the shooter who fatally shot a Police officer at the Texas Tech campus on Monday ? That's what the NFL players said they were " protesting " against. Police " brutality ". And since they were on a raid of the students living area for ( unmentionable subject ), that should win him even MORE support and cheers from YOU lying liberals.

The whole thing cost about 250k.
No biggy. That's what it would cost had he stayed. No one would begrudge him for attending the game. Presidents go to sporting events all the time. It always cost money.

I think if he wasn't going to watch it, he could have not wasted the 250k. I think a statement explaining that while he was an Indianapolis fan, he respects the rights of those who choose to kneel, he would also choose not attend any games where players may kneel.

I think that would have taken some of the steam out of the protest for one, AND two, it wouldn't have looked like an orchestrated stunt continuing the pissing match between the NFL and trump.

It was bad PR all around.
