In 1977 Ms. Eden married a Chicago businessman, and moved there (at least part time, when she wasn't working on Hollywood projects). In 1979 I moved to Chicago to attend grad school, and while walking around downtown during orientation week I ran into her (I kept my distance and didn't bother her).

Guess what? She was way hotter in person than she ever was on TV. At the time, IIRC, she was the spokesmodel for L'eggs pantyhose, and damn, she definitely had the legs for it. Especially in heels. If she'd have given me any encouragement I'd have jumped her bones right then and there, and she was pushing 50 at the time.

Ah, lost opportunities...
