The only person who ever pays me back in my family is my sister. She has a strong moral code. Nobody else gives a shit. Other than my sister, I might as well just wipe my ass and flush the money in the toilet and kiss it goodbye.

There are plenty of people in my family with a lot more money than me. Unlike me, they know how to say "no" when they are asked for money. I don't and my family and friends know that about me.

Last fall I traveled to many countries that are considered to be Democratic Socialist countries. Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, Iceland, Norway, Sweden. Other countries that are considered to be Democratic Socialist countries are Canada, Portugal, Italy, and France.

All of these countries have a free market economy with either no or limited government restrictions on businesses.

What these countries have, for the most part, are higher individual tax rates and more social programs. People have much more security in their lives than people in the U.S. but pay for it while they are working.
