Glad you didn’t say “posse” instead of “a lot of people”
La bron gets mad if you say he has a posse

MC hammer didn't make the kind of money Lebron is making. He had a couple songs/ albums that did well. He didn't make 100 million dollars.

Bill Russell was the best player on the best team in NBA history in terms of number of championships won in a certain period of time. B. Russell is not even in the top 25 for scoring. Can't make any player GOAT that's not even in the top 25 in scoring. Michael Jordan is GOAT, it's not even close.

if scoring was your point why isn't KareemPuff the GOAT? he has 6 titles also and most points, more than Jordan.

the era and the team Russell played on wasn't focused on individual scoring, just that all important goal .. WINNING.

by that standard, Russell is the GOAT.

 You have no argument
 |
Sure there is an argument. If Bush43 can be admitted in Harvard MBA with a 2.7 GPA, then how come a minority can't be admitted with a 2.7? Remember FF theory is minorities with inferior grade point averages are getting in over more qualified white students. (Sort of what Bush43 did at getting into Harvard MBA with a 2.7 GPA.)

Affirmative action just says if there are 20 positions open and you have 30 qualified candidates let's have at least one minority get admitted for one of the twenty positions.

Do you think Ben Carson was qualified to get into Yale undergrad and then into the University of Michigan medical school? He went to high school in the projects of Detroit. Bush43 went to boarding school in Conn and got "C"s there as well. |

The greatest all around player is Michael Jordan. It's not just scoring but a combination of Scoring, assists, defense, steals, the number of triple doubles, rebounding and the ability to make others around you better. When you take all this in, Michael Jordan is the GOAT.

Russell is considered one of the best defensive centers that ever played. like he said, Wilt never scored 100 pts on him. could he beat Jordan one-on-one? who knows? they don't give titles for one-on-one tournaments.

it's similar to the argument who's the greatest golfer, Nicklaus or Woods? same argument, by majors won Jack is, regardless if he says he thinks Woods is the better player. they never met on the course so we'll never know just like Russell and Jordan never played against each other.

i don't care about the endless debate of who the best individual player is .. who is in the record books as having won the most titles? the one record coveted above all others.

Russell. and Nicklaus

I can say for a fact that the best 7'5" 12th man who ever played was Chuck Nevitt. He was the tallest victory cigar in history. I'm not saying that just because he played for my Lake show. I'm talking facts... I'm scared Tacko Fall may take that title away from him though.

One person is the equivalent of an anecdote.

Look at the non legacy, non rich person admits. You keep pulling Bush out of his rich, powerful, legacy category and making him a proxy for regular white people - who have no chance whatsoever. If pure merit were involved, the Ivy League would be 50% Asian, 48% white.

If that is what it is, then I say add one more position in the interests of fairness, then I can live with it. These Universities were forced by the Government to change their admissions policies to admit minorities in greater numbers, so they can be forced to admit more students, as well. They receive massive federal funding and they as universities are a special class of institution anyway.

Don't count the rich and powerful who are always going to be the exception and beat the rules, anyway.

Harvard MBA is not going to double the number of slots available. No school is going to do that.

Question for Kamala Harris went to Law School at the University of California Hastings. Pence I think went to the University of Indiana. Which law school is ranked higher?

what a shame to waste a life fixated on the irrelevant - bush's college grades - still fixated on that after all the discusion in another thread.

One thing i will bet money on - 'a' has NEVER been on a medical school admissions committee - and has no clue as the Law and how they operate in selecting 'at risk' minorities for admission.

the statement about 'Affirmative Action' has no bearing in reality - particularly with recent lawsuits against admissions procedures by caucasians discriminated against in favor of lesser qualified 'minority ' applicants.

But - lack of knowledge about a topic - yet broadcasting their narrative 'authoritative ' opinions - is characteriztic of 'a' and his the DPST marxist, racist ilk.
