I would say #1, have you ever been there? Nothing else matters until that's been accomplished, lol.

There was a big furor about this guy requesting a cart on the PGA tour. To my knowledge, he’s the only one who was granted a cart.

If I remember correctly, Jack Nicklaus was one of the few players that agreed with him at the time.

i don't golf either. would like to tho.

only reason ask is that tours have rules.

some tours rules require no carts and must carry your bag.

most tours rules don't require golfers to have a caddy as that is optional.

so this why i'm asking about having a caddy as a required rule.

The only players that generally carry their own bags are amateurs. Like NCAA players. No PGA/LPGA player totes his/her own bag.

28 replies in this thread, and 28 hijacks. Where's gman44? He loves to dole out hijack points.. To me, at least.
The topic is the hardcore racist Phil Mickelson, not whether Caddies are required, or golf is boring.

So Phil is going to work on himself? After snapping back that his words were said in private. Made it the fault of the person who repeated Phil's racist language.

The PGA is off to a bad start in 2022. Its 2 most popular players (Phil and Tiger) are out of commission. Tiger may never play a competitive Tournament again, and Phil reminds us of how racist and Bourgeois the Tour was, before Tiger re-shaped attitudes beginning 25 years ago.
