It's not a caveat.
The lack of motion censors in there and improper close-out procedures allowed a man to hide out in one of those restrooms overnight.
You have an illusion of safety. Dreamgirl understands the farcical nature of that illusion because she sees the plethora of things that are even worse. That you and I don't instantly, habitually and instinctively perceive.
You also have an illusion of threats. There are reasonable systems in place to reduce threats. But, as we know, a bad actor can find a way. You're pre-judging that they're bad actors... because they're trans.
And those shared locker rooms, in most cases, are break rooms that aren't changing areas at the retail level.
At the warehouse level... it depends.
At the Corporate level, I think we'll agree it's vastly different.
