so what sort of VooDoo did you do so that you could get back on OH2?
I still get the IP banned msg but I have installed a free VPN extension onto my browser so that solves that.

I got you, girl. From CK, you have to either have your IP address as public, or have your IP address coming from Canada or the US through a VPN.
Same thing was happening to me, where I could only access through my phone on mobile network.
I downloaded Proton VPN for free. If you use the free version, you don't get to chose which location it is coming for each time you connect. I kept connecting/disconnecting/connecting, until it chose a US one for me. Another option is to get the paid version where you can set the location each time you connect.
There are tons of other VPNs you can get as well. Doing a Google search for VPN will bring them up, so you can chose which option works best for you!
Just make sure you're connecting to a VPN located in US or Canada. Once I did that, I got on through my laptop like a charm!
DM me if you need any more help with it.

I use FREEVPN (its in the Chrome extension store as well as the FireFox addons) the FREE version gives you 5 and you can pick an area of the planet. The paid version gives you 60+ servers and you can either pay 9.99 a month or if you go 3 years they bill you 95.55 for the 3 year duration plus they give you a free year.

The real question is, does the VPN keep logs of every web site you visit for how long and then sell that information on the open market?
"Free" VPNs are "free" because you're paying for them... one way or another.
Proton is the only VPN that doesn't keep logs... it's Secure Core servers are located in Switzerland, still the toughest privacy laws on the planet. The paid versions give you choices of VPN protocol, bounce your connection off of two countries (servers in over 100 countries), and if I remember when I set up my Protonmail account (paid), choice of 1024 or 2048 bit encryption. US based VPNs are limited to 256 bit encryption (same as a Bluetooth earpiece) so that they are easy to hack into and access.
Sometimes what you access isn't worth what you're giving up.
I complement you on your perseverance.
You might want to go to eff.org and read up on "Surveillance Self Defense". They also have some useful freeware that you can download.

Thank you for all that info!
For me, privacy isn't as big of a concern, but I understand that it is for a lot of people, so that is definitely helpful to know.
For me, I just wanted to be able to get on there on my laptop so I could actually post and get involved in discussions, rather than having to squint at my phone.

Please keep in mind that on the client side, felony charges and convictions is never a good look.
