Trump might get a medal- but it would be for being a international disgrace to the planet. I mean the guy has done nothing to unite ppl, just to threaten them. I get that a lot of REDHats think that's cute- and likely enjoy the berating of spouses, children and puppies too. While Trump has had MANY opportunities- the only thing that 'might' warrant any global congratulations would be operation warp speed, but then it wasn't him doing the heavy lifting- it was american companies being asked to fast track technology, innovation and following science. Creating vaccines- But yeah...RedHats despised that too.

Going around the world giving speeches, apologizing for how shitty the country who just elected him president is isn’t diplomacy afaic. Sure, some international body who agrees with that assessment might suck him off and give him an award for it, but they’re actually much better off with Trump’s tough love telling them the truth.

Hey eye - didja turn on your tv today?

Trump put together a signing ceremony for the Gaza peace deal. It was held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. Leaders from 30 different nations attended. Including recent belligerents like India and Pakistan, or Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Kinda looks to me like trumpy is doing a good job of UNITING a lot of people. People who wouldn't have been caught dead in the same room together under Joe Biden.
Around 30 countries attended the Gaza peace summit in Sharm El-Sheikh on October 13, 2025. Co-chaired by US President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, the summit was held to discuss the end of the conflict in Gaza after a ceasefire was implemented.

The Nobel Peace prize isn't given out for tough love, or outright aggravation of peace. Not for divisive rhetoric, nor slapping people around so they see it "your way".

Diplomacy is the art of making everyone think they got the biggest piece. Trump has ZERO capacity to do that. He'd be better off showing pictures of his old lady in her younger days suckin him off; vs. trying to say- hey look at me saving the world, one head slap at a time.

TRUMP DENIAL SYNDROME- (for those who like the TDS moniker)- where an asshole can do any wrong he want's and you still wanna let him fuck yer wife like a good lil -cucky.

And if it lasts- I'll applaud as well. I have yet to see anything he claims last more than a few days or weeks. Including his tariffs. SO - yes, Ill be glad to say I was wrong when this actually sticks as he 20 point plan suggests. Will you equally be willing to say- I was right when this whole shebang goes tits up?

It wasn't that long ago that ppl were lining up to claim Trump was awesome to move the embassy to Jerusalem, but in reality- what did that do for anything. Another joke- the Abraham accords? What was so good about those- (like reading the fiction of promissory note on a trump property)- not worth the paper it was on)) AND, even if you felt they were so great- how the fuck did we end up here with a war between the middle east peoples, and where were all these arab countries controlling their brethren from Hamas?

Point is- I'd love to say he's got great ideas and support from All these folks attending. I'm sure those countries are tired of seeing these two entities at each others throats, and blowing up innocent people etc. But the proof will be in the pudding- Long term.

But not eyecu2.
"I really commend President Trump and his administration,” Clinton told CBS News 24/7 Friday.
"Let’s now support this process and bring it together, not just in a nonpartisan way in our own country, but literally internationally as a great global commitment to try to bring peace, security, stability and a better future to the Middle East,” Clinton told CBS.

HOW the hell else is she going to comment publicly on it?

Privately- She's scoffing just like everyone else- as the middle east has been a violent area and skirmishes pop up all the time. Id say anyone without anonymity saying no hurrah would be bar-b-qued on the news.

I actually WISH it works- vs. just the posing for a win-

BUT It's like taking a picture of your team with the trophy- before the game is even started. Yeah, it is a good photo- op but do you really think that this has the muster to stand through all 20 points? History says no- but again- I'll be first to applaud if it sticks. It's sad to see and hear of all the death that is happening in GAZA and Israel.

Too bad your understanding of the Middle East doesn't run as deep as your TDS.

Hamas wasn't "controlled" by its Arab neighbors. It was aligned with non-Arab, Persian Iran. In case you didn't notice, most of the Sunni Arab nations despise Shia Iran.

The Abraham Accords established a welcome and much-needed diplomatic framework for Israel's neighbors to make peace and normalize relations with the Jewish State. To date, the accords have been signed by Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan and the UAE. (Egypt and Jordan already signed separate bilateral peace deals with Israel.)

One of the reasons Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023 was to squash the possibility of Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords. Given the Kingdom's massive oil wealth and its prominence within Islam as Custodian of the Holy Mosques in Mecca and Medina, this would be a huge paradigm shift for the Middle East.

All Hamas actually achieved on October 7th was to sign its own death warrant. The road is now cleared for the Saudis to join the Abraham Accords.

Please try to stay on topic. This thread is about Trump's chances of earning a Nobel prize, not Obama's laughable DEI award.

Timing wasn't right. The Nobel Committee had already made up its mind when the Gaza peace deal was announced.

On the plus side - this means you and eyecu2 will have another year to root for the Gaza peace accord to unravel and collapse!
Then you can cheer when trump is denied the 2026 prize as well!
