Nobody knows. He’s never played for a good team.

I watched the first half. Fields was the best athlete on the Field. Running and throwing. He can’t help they traded an All Pro corner for a guy who can’t catch. The reality is, Fields as a Pro, has never been with a team or system that was conducive for him to succeed. Sports are littered with players like that. Wrong place, wrong time. So I’m not going to label him a “bum” or a bust. The announcers said the same thing. He’s far too good an athlete. Sadly, this might be his last chance. I don’t feel sorry for him. His choice. He chose Woody Johnson and his morbid franchise. Wrong place, wrong time.

I watched the whole game. From the sporadic spots where he played well to the poor reads, bad throws and happy feet.

And despite having an opportunity to lead a comeback, he failed.

I get that he's your guy but take off those rose-colored glasses. He's a bum.

Jets fans and piles of analysts and former players can admit it. Willie Colon can admit it. Why can't you?

For your viewing pleasure. Again

Aaron Rodgers had “sporadic” moments with the Jets too. As well as every QB under Johnson has. It goes with the territory.

AD Mitchell was asked what he thought changed for the Jets' offense after their first drive:

"If I could really pinpoint anything, I would point the finger at myself and say I need to perform better. I just need to do better."

Another perfect throw dropped by a different receiver which killed yet another drive. His receivers weren’t “sporadic”, they were terrible.

AD Mitchell with his THIRD drop tonight.

One of the WORST drops you will ever see.

The Colts traded damaged goods....

Fields receivers dropped FOUR drive sustaining catches. Momentum killers everytime. I don’t know what game you were watching. It certainly wasn’t this one.

How can Fields win without these players

You clearly don’t know football

Mitchell makes this catch they’re on the 15yrd line. They punted instead. That’s why their offense was “sporadic”.

Willie Colon and Shady know football better than both of us combined and they think he sucks.

It's ok that you backed a bad horse. Just don't bet any silver stacks on him

And others that know football say Field's has no chance to succeed with the Jets. I guess you missed the pregame on Prime. But I certainly know football better than you. The Steelers offered him a contract and prepared to make him their starter. You probably never buckled up a flag football belt. And don’t be jealous of my silver, another thing I have that you don’t. Not one ounce will leave my possession until it reaches its true value. I’ll buy you a Prime subscription so you can actually watch TNF!!!!!!

Thanks for playing Mr Gristle!!!!

You're welcome Bam. I love that you have a soft spot for bums

Justin Fields’ Uncertain Future with the Jets

The New York Jets entered the season with high hopes, but the reality has fallen short of expectations. As the team grapples with a series of disappointing performances, questions surrounding Justin Fields’ role in the franchise are becoming increasingly pronounced.

Struggles on the Field

The Jets have faced a tumultuous season, characterized by a lack of consistency and effectiveness in their gameplay. With a roster that was expected to contend, the reality of a struggling offense has left many wondering about the future of their quarterback. Fields, who was once seen as a promising leader, now finds himself at the center of locker room discussions filled with doubt.

One of those second half highlights you missed
https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comment..._snap_and_the/

And a good conversation

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8f43Thb6o1o

He's proving himself to be a football player who throws a football... sometimes. 15 for 26 for 116 yards. Most of his best plays were runs. 30th rated QB in the league so far. As a QB, he's a bum

Justin Fields as the Jets QB1:
• 1642 yards
• 11 TD
• 1 INT

He is NOT the problem in New York.

Here’s his rushing stats

71 attempts 383yrds 5.4 average 4TDs 43yrds long

As anyone can see his production is pretty good. He doesn’t turn the ball over now. A bum couldn’t put up those numbers in the NFL. Especially with a terrible team.

BOOM

As the 30th best QB in the league he IS a problem, with his sub 90 rating. That alone makes him a bum.

Thank you for your attention to this matter

Aaron Rodgers is 29th. He plays on a better team. I guess he’s just an old bum. He only won 5 games with the Jets. With much better receivers who could actually catch footballs. The Bum here is the owner. Who was universally ridiculed for his public comments on Fields. I would say thanks for your attention to this matter. But you haven’t been paying attention.

You can publicly crap on one of your players, but how dare they anonymously crap on you!

NFL owners have filed a grievance against the NFLPA to stop the annual report cards. #Jets owner Woody Johnson called them “totally bogus” and was the one behind it, per @DVNJr.

Johnson received an F grade from his players last year.
