ABC: "Do you believe President Trump has issued any illegal orders?"

SLOTKIN: "To my knowledge I am not aware of things that are illegal."

LOL... Again, with all your experience in the service, its easy to understand why you think some E4 is gonna tell his LT he's not going to detain illegals because the 4th Circuit said it was unconstitutional.

But having been an E4 and an LT, I'm here to tell you that shit is never gonna happen.

Ever.

I'd have my PSG take that Joe for some wall to wall counseling before I'd let him burn his career to the ground because he thinks he's a shithouse lawyer.

You're hilarious that you keep banging away that you think this would happen in real life.

“Right now, the threats to our Constitution aren’t just coming from abroad, but from right here at home. Our laws are clear,” “You can refuse illegal orders…you must refuse illegal orders. No one has to carry out orders that violate the law or our constitution.”

What exactly is seditious and treasonous in these words?
it’s important to highlight exactly what Crow and other Members of Congress are really doing.

Rep. Jason Crow’s post is a doctrinal example of narrative escalation within modern IO and psychological warfare doctrine.

Check out FM 3-05.301 / MISO.

By claiming that the President is threatening him with arrest and execution—a statement never actually made by Trump—Crow amplifies and inflates the narrative to its most extreme form in order to shape public perception.

This tactic, often called interpretive maximalism, takes an opponent’s words or actions and stretches them into a dire or existential threat, allowing the speaker to adopt a position of moral heroism while casting the opponent as an authoritarian danger.

When Crow doubles down on this framing, he creates what IO doctrine refers to as a self sealing narrative, where any denial or criticism becomes proof of the alleged threat.

The emotionally loaded language like “upholding my oath,” “standing with our troops,” “disregard for the rule of law,” are designed to trigger identity based responses and mobilize his political base through fear, outrage, and moral urgency.

In doing all of this, Crow shifts the conversation away from what was actually said and into a battle over perceived intent, a classic PSYOP mechanism that reframes political disagreement as existential warfare.

This is not an evidentiary argument—it is a strategic influence play aimed at narrative dominance.

It is important that Americans recognize these tactics so that they can understand when propaganda is being pushed by their own government officials.

I haven't said anything about DETENTION sapper. I'm talking about deportation without due process. And I'm not interested in those soldiers you're talking about, it shouldn't be on them to make the call on domestic soil, but someone way up the chain should have raised concern. I'm saying it's quite possible that the CIC has WILLFULLY violated the Constitution. As well as the Posse Comitatus Act multiple times and idiots continue to support him.

But then, he's so fucking dumb a jury would probably rule him incapable of comprehending any document, much less the Constitution and laws.

I have provided an example of the CIC violating the Constitution, and federal judges have ruled he violated the PCA.

These rulings indicate a growing judicial consensus that the Trump administration's use of military forces for domestic law enforcement is likely illegal.

Nobody is worried about that E2 picking up trash, but there does need to be accountability.

Then you missed the entire point of the OP and the 6 douche bags encouraging soldiers to question the legitimacy of orders they may receive.

This isn't a discussion over the orders are legitimate (thats for the Courts to decide), this is about how the individual enlisted, noncom and officer ranks will respond... which is to follow their orders...

This sounds very much like what Trump does all the time. He makes untrue claims. Usually about some form of threat. Adopts a position of moral heroism while casting the opponent as an existential threat. All the while creating a self sealing narrative, where any denial or criticism becomes proof of the alleged threat.

You are right. We all need to be aware of this tactic and how it’s being used on both sides.

The abuse of power is VERY real.

The weaponization of social media is VERY real.

The destruction of the American way of life, sadly, is near complete.

I can't think of another time in history that compares with this.

Distinguished veterans and public servants. They said what needed to be said. Now the President of the Goddamned United States is calling them traitors on social media, like some kinda maniac who's about to shoot up a school, to an adoring audience just itching to follow his every whim. You honestly think Hegseth is gonna tell Trump to shut up?

HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAH!

Shit's real now.

Default Who TF is your source?!

When I said I would let you wallow in this, I think maybe you took this to mean that you could continue massive lies without being challenged by me. Not the case.

This ENTIRE part of this post below seems to be... PLAGIARIZED. No credit given to the author.

There could be a number of reasons why. The most obvious is that you struggle to make cogent, rational arguments yourself. Another possibility is.... you don't want to draw attention to the source. Who seems to be a Right-wing nutjob blowhard who wallows in conspiracy theories, including bullshit about the Sandy Hook and Las Vegas shootings.

WTF? https://x.com/GBNT1952

Do you maybe feel a little different after learning he seemingly plagiarized his post? Why do you engage with this person as if he presents legitimate arguments? You only encourage him in his support of the lies that started this thread, and his twisted interpretations of them. This is not worthy of your attention. He does not debate you. He only continues to feed this pile of bile as though it is worthy of actual discussion.

Uh uh. It's plagiarism. Theft.

I think you didn't credit your source because it would have been instantly exposed as garbage. That has happened to you so many times before that it's really gotta sting.

And then...throwing this back on "Leftists." Pretending this was clever, not desperate. It really seems that MAGA has no scruples whatsoever in the way that they will lie to protect their ideology and Trump fealty.

The lies in this thread suck total ass.

I’ve been known to take an excerpt from another article or post on the internet without giving credit. It’s not common but as long as it’s accurate it doesn’t matter to me. I think a bigger problem is that people are starting to use AI to fill out their posts sometimes without knowing if the AI gave out accurate or even real information.

Of course you don't! You very obviously only care about the ones that agree with yours.

And I am not here to try to convince you of anything.

I am only paying attention to you to discredit the lies that you are supporting in this garbage thread that is built upon them. Especially the ones you steal.
