Since having a post moved from Political forum to here, I'm not sure about this one...but give the mods permission to move as needed.

One Homeland. One People. One Heritage.
One Homeland? Our forefathers, the colonists who can here cannot claim North America as a 'homeland'. Their 'homeland' was England ...and more later in this post.
One People?
Dating before the Declaration of Independence and the American Revolution...While the largest number of the colonists were from England, the colonists came from Germany, France, Sweden, Finland, (dare we call the Scottish and Irish part of England)...as well as slaves who came from Africa, though involuntarily.
One Heritage?
See the above Given the many 'homelands' the colonists came from, it's simple to see there was not a single heritage.
Politically incorrect...I suppose (with the exception of slaves, who were not considered 'people' at the time), this DOL 'slogan' might be applicable if we only consider white protestants.
Even that works poorly as those 'protestants' were made up of and mixed with Anglicans, Puritans, Lutherans, Quakers, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Catholics, Jews...
Seems DOL Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer would have difficulty being a part of the slogan as her father has been described as Mexican-American.
DOL does neither itself nor its 'customers' any favors with this disturbing slogan.
