Threatening text

Randomly got a text from a (954) number saying they were an escort service management and threatened me for wasting one of their girl’s time. They revealed my name in the text, saying to pay a fine or there could be bloodshed. While I’m 90% sure this is a scam, has anyone else experienced this?

Allot of guys have had them. I've had them myself.

I had one posing as an FBI agent with a task force. Thing is the FBI doesn't call or text you hitting you up for a fine.

I don't know that contacting the FBI is a good idea as it connects you to protestation. They may decide to check your phone.

Just claim it was a robo-text. I get them all the time. Not from escort managers but every other service under the sun.

So, I got another text. The second was worse than the first. It was supposedly some guy claiming to be with the cartel and demanding I pay him for wasting his escort’s time. On top of getting the text, that number tried calling me. I reported the number to my phone carrier as spam to be cataloged, blocked the number without responding, and saved the message in case I need to get cops involved. I agree with Chief, FBI getting involved might get messy.

However, I am officially stepping away from the hobby in Springfield. Very poor selection, if you can get any girls to message back. There’s also some increasingly shady shit happening, and I’m done with it. Not worth the hassle anymore.

Had the same thing happen to me last summer, called, and texted me, threatning me to pay a huge fine, even sent me very explicit photos of what they did to people that didnt pay the fine. I just told them to come on and try and see how far they get lol, never heard from them again

Especially if you text them a pic of a few firearms. Don't even have to be yours.
