I really don't want to demonize the entire of ICE/DHS/CBP.

I'm sure there's a large number of folks who are just trying to do their job well.
I'm also sure there are at least a few 'bad apples' that are the result of hiring massive numbers of folks in too short a period of time, resulting in poor vetting.
And there's a few at the top who are being directed by 'misguided' administration leaders.

It's just a shame that it seems any efforts to actually work on the immigration process and fix that have been abandoned.

On Friday, ICE Acting Director Todd Lyons said that the two officers involved in the January shooting of a Venezuelan immigrant in the leg appear to have made “untruthful statements” under oath, adding that the two are now under investigation by the Department of Justice.

Per a statement given to Politico, Lyons wrote, “A joint review by ICE and the DOJ of video evidence has revealed that sworn testimony provided by two separate officers appears to have made untruthful statements. Both officers have been immediately placed on administrative leave pending the completion of a thorough internal investigation.”

These fucking yahoos are just a bunch of failed J6ers who think they can do what they want with impunity.

Somebody borrowed a Clinton saying when it came to the funding of ICE: Don't end it. Mend it.

First start to fixing is to fucking kick out the jackboots and have them go through rehiring and than shake out the fucking deviants.

Next, ACTUALLY MAKE SURE THEY ARE TRAINED PROPERLY AND THROUGHLY before putting them on the street with the knowledge there will be oversight.
