elg is absolutely correct in his assessment of criticism of female politicians. You could replace AOC’s name with any other female politician and the comments would be mostly the same.
Although this happens on the right much more than on the left it’s still a pretty common occurrence on both sides.
AOC may not be your cup of tea and you can disagree with her policies all you like but she is an intelligent charismatic personable politician that is a true leader in the Democratic party.
Expect her to be a formidable political figure in the next few decades.
