I think that almost everybody is missing the point. The Trump administration under the auspices of Pete Hegseth have created an official policy of sanctioned extrajudicial murder.

These strikes on alleged drug boats are unlawful.

Just because Trump signed an executive order designating drug cartels as “foreign terrorist organizations” who “present an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States.” and He declared a national emergency “to deal with those threats.” isn’t itself justification to carry out military strikes against unproven targets.

This is a major part of what is dooming MAGA: they only support the Constitution and U.S. and international laws when they agree with Trump's corrupt agenda. They are turning more and more people against them every damn day.

I’ve got no problem with a lack of due process for a boat full of foreigners delivering shit that routinely kills Americans by the thousands. Only sad part is it’s instantaneous. It’d be better if they suffered a bit, like their victim’s families.

Legally, Nobody knows the truth from either side. There was no proof shown either way to support either conclusion, nor due process to discover the truth.

Personally, anything that comes from Trump or his administration is not believable.

He also thought that nobody but property owners of direct European decent had any rights AT ALL, and that execution was the proper punishment for minor infractions like thievery. For a man who lived in the mid to late 1600’s he was more enlightened than most. His attitudes on slavery changed significantly by the end of his life.

Not that I don’t agree, if they’re US citizens who committed a crime on US soil. That’s not the case here. Foreigners clandestinely bringing things into the country, that are every bit as deadly as things that go boom, is an act of war and should be treated as such.
