Here’s what research and clinical observations actually show:
Sex drive varies widely among autistic men. Autism is highly heterogeneous, and so is sexuality. Studies show that autistic men may fall anywhere along the spectrum:
Some have higher-than-average libido
Some have average libido
Some have lower libido, including a higher rate of asexual identification compared to the general population
Autistic men show more variability, not a single pattern.

It's true that asexuality is more common among autistic men than among neurotypical men.
That being said, among heterosexual autistic men, his sex drive has very little to do with whether he participates in the escort hobby.
I'm a straight autistic man whose sex drive is probably lower than most neurotypical men my age. Yet I get with escorts. Why? Because lower sex drive doesn't mean nonexistent. I still have the urge to get laid; just not as frequently as most 34 year old men. And as for why specifically I go the escort route to get laid: As a result of autism, there's pretty much no other way I'm capable of getting laid.
The extreme difficulty autistic men have in getting a woman means I'd venture to guess straight autistic men utilize escorts at a higher rate than straight neurotypical men
