So why do you think they all disappeared? Apparently there would be a huge market for them.

My theory....


All the R&Ts got busted and shut down all those years ago. After a period of time, the Asians saw that "huge market" and filled it. They have become so prevalent that I believe challenging/competing with them would be a challenge these days.


Additionally, even if you did open up a non-Asian R&T, clientele would likely not get the same level of service they do at the AMPs - for exactly the same reasons that so many of us are abandoning non-asian providers and flocking to the AMPs - non-Asian service providers are a pain in the ass these days with all their drama, prices, poor services, shitty locations, dirty locations, and just general horse shit.


But again, that's just my thoughts....

highest profile ?, prob the one on ridge Rd near long pond

one of the girls BF was in the process of holding up the place at closing

when the other girls BF , an off duty city cop ,arrived to pick her up and walked into the ordeal and shot the perp

so that put too much spotlight on the place and the owner

had multiple locations so it dominoed .



but beyond that , generally the cops would pull over the guys

after they left the shop

and start questioning them about

their "activities" at the shop

and most would cave

because they were married
