We’ve been spending money and time and American lives on this effort to presumably push some kind of radical regime change in Iran. This includes an agenda with many other priorities including nuclear disarmament, a reduction or cessation of Iranian support for terrorism, A cessation of support for Russia and China.

The question of course is whether the next iranian government is willing to do these things at our urging and how much will it cost to do so.

We’ve had a number of threads discussing the state of Americans debt. This kind of adventurism is not something that we can afford in my opinion.

Last I looked, they were still there. Even after multiple bombing attempts. It is best to let the Iranians remove that thorn. Lord knows they have shown the mettle to do it.
