How exactly did he know that the charges were made up out of whole cloth until after the investigation?

Mueller investigated as he was directed to as the special counsel. He did his job. This indignation on the part of Trump and his MAGA supporters is nothing but a giant load of bullshit.

Found him to be a very kind man. Very direct. Very by the book, but with a great sense of humor. Short, but still a commanding presence
