We all knew the young masculine confidant guy (combat vets, athletes, great dads-you name it) who compromise their whole identity just to keep peace in the family. It is a slow process of emasculation as they age. Their life is "yes dear" "ok honey". They become a shell of what they once were. Hen pecked. The wife even orders for them at Cracker Barrel. Sad to watch.

In fairness to the ladies....
Back in the day..how many wives suffered through a male dominated 1960s,1970s marriage? Having children and giving up their dreams. Dad made the money--so dad made the all the decisions.
