TSA airport security - still no pay ?

You guys are as bad as the damn Dems. Like them, you guys completely forgot about TSA (the direct topic) and are only focused on ICE (the indirect topic). No wonder those poor guys can't get back to work and I have to get to the airport 2 hours earlier than I usually do just to play it safe... by the way, the ICE guys I encountered at the airport were pretty nice last week. It's amazing how their demeanor changes when those goons can't hide behind masks and you can easily identify them. Haha

My experience was the same...no masks and all the airport cameras and they acted quite polite.

Under current international law, specifically the 1951 Refugee Convention, there is no binding requirement for an asylum seeker to claim asylum in the first safe country they enter.

While this is a common misconception, the legal realities and rights under international law differ from this "first safe country" narrative.

INA § 208 8 U.S.C. § 1158 is not international law.

Probably some ultra right wing misinformation site. There is a law like that in the EU to prevent shopping for a country by applying for asylum in several countries. Their situation is a little different in that there are many countries in close proximity to each other.
