The 1607 reference is an interesting own goal. Native Americans inhabited these lands thousands of years before European settlers arrived, yet received citizenship only in 1924. Land and citizenship have always been separate questions — the meme just forgot to mention that inconvenient detail.
Birthright citizenship is the 14th Amendment, settled law since 1868, upheld by the Supreme Court in 1898. Not a Left position — the law of the land.
