Looks like the BIG money is on the BIG money
The first Swallows-less polling is out.
Looks like Katie is going down.
On the upside; it could improve her dating capabilities.
But the 2 Republicans are still holding.
Rumor is the GOP is wanting to consolidate to a single candidate.
But, uhhmmm, I dunno 'bout dat just yet.
InteractivePolls
@IAPolls2022
EMERSON: CA Governor (top 2 advance)
🟥 Steve Hilton: 17% (+4)
🟥 Chad Bianco: 14% (+3)
🟦 Tom Steyer: 14% (+4)
🟦 Xavier Becerra: 10% (+7)
🟦 Katie Porter: 10% (+2)
🟦 Matt Mahan: 5% (+2)
🟦 A. Villaraigosa: 3% (=)
🟦 Betty Yee: 1%
🟦 T. Thurmond: 1%

Will have to wait a week or so to see if the BIG money can raise the BIG money for the BIG money guy.

Tom Steyer is running the most expensive campaign in America. It might win him the California governorship.
The Democratic billionaire is moving quickly to take advantage of a wide-open California governor’s race. 04/16/2026
Nearly a half-billion dollars, two campaigns and one Eric Swalwell implosion later, Tom Steyer suddenly appears closer than ever to winning elected office.
Sacramento elected officials and strategists initially rolled their eyes when the billionaire climate activist began ramping up for his run for California governor, recalling how he plowed some $340 million into a failed 2020 presidential bid that resembled a high-priced vanity project. But Steyer vaulted himself into the top tier of the wide-open race with a $120 million advertising blitz and a concerted courtship of the state’s progressive powers.
He is spending more on advertising than any other campaign in America so far this cycle, including Democrats’ all-in gerrymandering push in California. Weeks before the June primary, he has already nearly quadrupled the roughly $33 million spent by Gavin Newsom’s 2018 run for governor...

Seems the subject of this thread decided to fall upon his sword.
Hopefully those that have come forward will get the legal satisfaction they are owed.
Amazing that the current crop of repubs don't own up to their pecadillos (sp) like the libbys.

why the double standard?

...speaking of owning up to their mess, I wonder if the maggies know who this is.

{[Ri-i-i-ght?]/[Ri-i-ght!]}
Don't make it difficult on yourself.
I'll repeat it for you: Seems the subject of this thread decided to fall upon his sword.
As you stated ambiguously. But read it concisely.
I thank you for agreeing with me that the guy took himself out of contension for office.
I wonder why maggies fight doing this when caught red handed?

Another one bits the dust
Looks like Betty Yee is dropping out for lack of funds and interest.

R-i-i-ght... I suspect you felt Old Slow Joe just "decided" to drop out of the race in 2024 all by his lonesome. Both were a Pelosi hit job - IMMHO.

Thank you for further showing that the libbys take a bow and step back when question came about the mental actions and age of the candidate.
And also showing that maggie will turn a blind eye when their love interest displays those same qualities so unerringly.

What a load of garbage. Swallowswell did NOT voluntarily drop out of the race, he got forced out because the Dems were afraid he'd lose if he even got out of the primary. Joe didn't voluntarily drop out either. Noting your lack of any proof of your rantings and nothing but pathetic insults. As usual for you.

Where did I state about his reasons for dropping out?
Just stated he did and faster than maggie types do.
You know, like the one some refer to as pedo in chief.
Y'all speculate like you will. The crucible of it is he stepped down faster than those that follow the Grifter-n-Chief followers.

Let's make it simple...
...for those that need it, with a question.
What happened to the Congressional investigations into Swallowswell once he resigned from Congress?
Hint:

That would be another thread.
Seems Congress hasn't had this many people fleeing their seats since the time of the Civil War.
