I have been considering a special vacation all by my lonesome and have seen some info on Oxygen Retreat (an ECCIE advertiser http://www.oxygenretreat.com) and also about some other places, but I am not really sure what Google results are reliable.

It will be my first foray off continent for a singularly focused vacation, so is there a forum in ECCIE (other than the Caribbean forum which is a bit thin on info) to find reliable "reviews" of such places, or could some who have experienced these places comment in this thread on options/locations, reliability, and activities available?

this o2 retreat sounds nice. i might have to look into it myself. considering i just left a sandals and dropped that kind of change....id rather be fucking everything that walks....

check out costaricaticas.com it's a forum with tons of good info on costa rica. i didn't read real close, so i'm not sure if you specified your exact destination, but costa rica is a pretty nice country to visit. when i go i don't do the whole "all inclusive" thing, but i'm sure they have them there. good luck. have fun.
