OK, with the way this thread has gone, this may seem off-topic, but actually, it is directly related to the topic at hand.
I made an offhand comment about threads closing too quickly a while back. I was half-heartedly joking, since several threads had been started and closed before I ever saw them.
I received a PM, or maybe it was an email (getting old sucks) from a senior mod asking me to explain my thoughts. He was concerned that there was a perception of threads being closed quickly, and trying to strike the balance of closing versus leaving them open. There was genuine interest in finding the right balance.
Now, I had no great pearls of wisdom for him, and generally, I think the mods close threads at the proper time. I have called for threads to be closed on occassions, to try to save some of you wandering trolls from getting a smackdown of points.
As far as the mods, favorites, etc., screw it. Or rather go screw your favorite gal, and forget about this silly ole board. (And with respect for Reese's post, don't take your frustrations out on the lady, remember she has to deal with the same perceived crap here that you do.)

Ah, did I say I was closing it? In fact, who reopened this thread after it was closed the first time? There is also this thing about staying on topic. We have all had great fun being inpolite to each other. Time to drag things back on topic again. You asked a question, it was answered. What more is there to say besides insults?

It was closed incorrectly. Wentworth said to close it per OP's request, which he is not the OP. Had the person closing the thread been paying attention, it never would have been closed to begin with.
