I vote for Uno's also, but I have never eaten a pizza in Dallas...sounds like there's some great places to try over there...

Actually it's Fielder Rd. Mama's has five locations now, three in Fort Worth and one in Mansfield and one in Arlington. And the pizza is excellent at all of them.
Mama's has been voted best pizza in Fort Worth several years.

my bad, I know where they're all at and just go, never pay much attention to street names. I'm in Mesquite so the Fielder location is closest.

we started at the camp bowie location in 78, when we moved to dallas, they had a plano and west northwest highway (bachman lake) location. then they all started closing other than the ft worth locations. I know the camp bowie sold out but they've reopened on the other side of 30. haven't been there yet.

Alfonso's in Dallas is the PSE BBBJDTNQNS of pizza's. Not only will it swallow, it will tell you how great you were and ask for more. It is some damn good pizza.

agree with Sweetie at least on Campisi's and the Joe's toast.
This could be an inpromtu pizza get-to-gether if anyone interested. I may have to make a trip to Mama's on Fielder Rd in Arlington saturday night. we just need a few ladies to join, I'd like some pretty faces to look at instead of a bunch of ugly mugs!

I'll give another endorsement for "Mama's Pizza" on Fielder in Arlington. Just had lunch there after seeing this thread and although I can't say it's the best I've ever had, I would say it's damn close. Pass this place almost every day and never gave it a try.
Thanks for the heads up fellas. A gem of a place hidden right under my nose all this time!
