No, as far as I know it's not in the earlier part of the thread, but I'll elaborate on my comment.
Whether a free session is half-hearted or spectacular depends upon why the session is free. If it's something the lady in question feels obligated to do, then I agree it is likely to be worth what one paid for it.
But I've had an occasional evening that was free because the lady I was with WANTED it to be free. A whole different dynamic when it's her choice/desire/preference. The last one was several years ago with a lady who had been out of the business for a couple years but we had stayed in e-mail touch as long distance friends. She had quit to try and make a romantic connection with a guy work, and started working in a field related to my work. I pointed her towards a company I knew was hiering and gave her a good introduction; she didn't get that job but she appriciated that I would try to help. While she was retired we'd occasionally talk about things related to her new career, a very informal mentoring.
Eventually she wrote me and said she had broken it off with the guy was getting back into escorting part time and asked me if I wanted to be her first date. I expected to pay but when I gave her the envelope she refused, saying it was a "thank you" for my staying in touch and treating her like a "real person", never pressuring her for anything sexuall when she wasn't in the business. I just let her run the show that night and it was a rather memorable evening in all the good ways.
