If you truly want to defeat Obama in 2012 you need to remind voters of everything in Obama's past that makes him unqualifed to sit in the Oval Office......that includes Ayers, Wright, Rezko, as well as the high minded constitutional issues that concern you....
But most importantly, it will be Obama's failure on the economy stupid !

I want to defeat Obama, but not with Romney, Gingrich or Santorum. So far, it's looking like a disaster no matter who wins.

Few cross the Clintons and live to a ripe old age. Socialists love recycling, when a leader can't advance the revolution any more they find another use for him. Trotsky didn't fair well with Stalin.

Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice.

None of the others are enough better than Obama to warrant my vote. It's a choice between being shot to death, or beaten to death. A Hobson's choice. We have to get away from the elitist candidates, and right now, there are none in the Republican or Democrat party.

THAT is the central issue, it isn't about "defeating Obama", it's about defeating his political philosophy and policies, with something better!

Romney is just Obama with better hair, Gingrich and Santorum both love big government as long as it does their bidding. Hell, at one time Gingrich proposed the death penalty for those caught bringing 2 oz of a certain simple deciduous plant into the US. How is totalitarianism from the religious right any better than from the communist left?

WW, I have put away childish things. That is why I no longer play in the child's game of the two party system, where no one ever truly wins.

Wake up COG; you aren't playing in the game.
You are searching for you ideal candidate who can win. It won't happen.

I admire your "big idea" approach, but I am a pragmatist and accept the incremental changes that can be accomplished towards a more constitutionally conservative Republic.

If you think there is no differnce between Obama and Romney so be it; I won't try to convince you otherwise.

But I can accept Romney with his faults and hope for more Tea Party conservatives to move things in the right direction; especially if the Senate swings right and Romney will be forced to govern from the right of center.

But then I guess you think the Tea Party movement is a waste of time as well.
