				 Super Bowl

Let's make it easier to visual and provide a chart for the elimination process.
Who is your pick to win the Super Bowl in 2012?

. . . I am going with the Green Bay Packers, but still hoping Denver can pull off a miracle!

				 Heart vs. Head

My heart says Denver or New Orleans, preferring Denver since my sister lives in Boulder and has been a Broncos fan for many years. But it was great to see those long-suffering Saints fans enjoy that championship a couple of years ago, especially in the difficult post-Katrina years.
But my head tells me it'll probably be a Packers-Patriots matchup, with both teams having an excellent shot at grabbing more championship rings. If pressed, I'd pick the Pack.

				 Dichotomy

			Well, that is amazing!
I too sense that strange dichotomy operating in my own system.

My heart wants Denver to win.

But my head says it will probably be a team like Green Bay.

Maybe the Super Bowl could come down to the Broncos versus the Packers!

. . . Now, that would be a real shoot-out that would keep everyone glued to their seat!

I think he was asking who was actually going to be playing in the game.....not praying about playing in the game! I think SF and the Ravens. |
I put the two brothers coaching aganist each other last week in another thread. Barring injury, I'd have to go with San Fran in a close one. I like the mobility of Smith ...

You can remove New Orleans and Denver from your poll.
 San Francisco - 36
 New Orleans - 32

 New England - 45
 Denver - 10

I agree, it will be the Packers and the Patriots.

				 Chart Update

Well, my favorite team, Denver lost, but life goes on.
The updated playoff chart now looks like this.
. . . Well, sorry about that, but it looks like my updated chart just disappeared.

Maybe someone can help me post an updated chart that will stick.

				 Gut Play

I should have stayed with my first guy instinct and gone with San Francisco.
Still the next confrontation does promise to be an exciting game from both ends of this great country.

The best in the East tangle, the New York Giants lock horns with the best in the West, the tough 49er!

 . Don't miss it!

 . . . .It's going to be a nail-biter!
